Are you interested in joining?

Applications from physicians, nurses, EMT's, mental health professionals, veterinary professionals and non-medical support personnel are sought. Prior military service is not required.  The Texas Medical Rangers provide surge capacity medical response only inside the State of Texas and are not subject to federal service. Be a surge responder and use your skills to help your fellow Texans!

How to Join
(in a nutshell)

• Print the Applicant Checklist.

• Bring copies of the specified documents to the next meeting.

• Come to the unit drills.  Drills are generally held two evenings a month.  Contact us for details regarding location, date, and time.  2LT Berlin will add you to the Applicants Email List so that you will receive drill reminders by email.  This is a very low-traffic email list.  Expect to receive exactly two messages each month.

The application process is very time-consuming and usually takes several months.  Even if your application hasn't yet been approved, come to the drills!
